Desmond Chau
Desmond enjoys supporting people with neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, stroke and brain injury, as well as neurodivergent clients. He brings a collaborative, strengths-based approach to his practice and particularly enjoys helping young adults develop practical skills to work towards their personal, educational and vocational goals.
Desmond has extensive experience conducting comprehensive functional assessments, prescribing assistive technology, and assessing both minor and complex home modifications. Drawing on his experience across community settings, he provides practical, client-centred and capacity-building interventions tailored to each person’s needs, routines and goals, with a focus on improving safety, independence and meaningful participation in daily life.
Kristy Leung
Kristy enjoys supporting neurodivergent clients, including people with ASD and ADHD, as well as people with psychosocial needs. She brings a compassionate, strengths-based approach to her practice and is committed to providing an inclusive, affirming and culturally responsive service. Kristy also has experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and values understanding each person’s unique identity, experiences and goals.
Kristy has extensive experience conducting comprehensive functional assessments, including SIL and SDA assessments, and supporting clients to identify suitable home and living options. She also completes assistive technology assessments for complex and high-cost equipment, including scripted wheelchairs. Her reports and recommendations are detailed, practical and evidence-based, and are developed collaboratively with clients, families and support teams.
Annie Yu
Annie is an Occupational Therapist with around five years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan, with a primary focus on children and young people. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients, particularly autistic people and people with intellectual disability, as well as adults with psychosocial and physical health conditions. Annie brings a strengths-based, person-centred approach to supporting each client’s independence, confidence and participation.
Annie supports children to develop self-care, fine motor, school readiness, sensory and emotional regulation skills. She also conducts functional assessments and provides practical interventions to help adults increase their independence and community participation. Annie is particularly passionate about helping teenagers and young adults build the functional skills needed for education, employment and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Kit Lau
Kit is an Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in paediatrics and mental wellbeing. She enjoys supporting neurodivergent children and uses play, creativity and client-centred approaches to make therapy engaging and meaningful. Kit also works with neurodivergent adults, tailoring her approach to each person’s strengths, needs and life stage to support their goals and participation in daily life.
Kit holds a Master of Occupational Therapy and has experience supporting people with psychosocial needs, including work in acute mental health wards at Liverpool Hospital. She has also volunteered with a 24-hour community mental health support hotline in Hong Kong and completed Mental Health First Aid training in 2021. These experiences inform her compassionate, responsive and person-centred approach to practice.
Eveline Tu
Eveline is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney. With a background in linguistics and fluency in English and Mandarin, she brings strong communication skills, cultural awareness and sensitivity to her practice. She values building genuine therapeutic relationships in which clients and families feel respected, understood and supported.
Eveline has strong experience conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and supporting SIL processes for adults with physical and neurological conditions. She produces clear, thorough and evidence-based reports that articulate functional needs and justify appropriate funding and supports. Eveline also works with neurodivergent children and children with developmental delays, supporting fine and gross motor skills, emotional and sensory regulation, social and play skills, attention, engagement and daily living skills to enhance participation across home, school and community environments.
Sherie Leung
Sherie is passionate about supporting children and teenagers with disabilities. She provides mobile occupational therapy across Parramatta and surrounding suburbs.
Sherie brings a holistic, client-centred and capacity-building approach to her practice, helping children develop self-care, fine motor, sensory processing, emotional regulation and school readiness skills to increase their independence and participation in daily life.
Sherie has extensive experience working in community and special needs school settings. She collaborates closely with families and educators to develop practical strategies that support children’s learning, engagement and participation at school. Sherie also supports teenagers and young adults to build the functional skills and confidence needed for education, social participation and everyday activities.
